Dreidel Spinning

Materials Needed:

Dreidels
Sandpaper
Bubble wrap
Table top (or other even surface)
Pie pan
Water

What to Do:
Provide children with dreidels, a piece of sandpaper, bubble wrap, and a pie pan filled halfway with water.
Ask children which surfaces they think the dreidel will spin on.
Invite the children to try and spin the dreidels on the different surfaces and in the pie pan with water in it (including just the table top).
Document both their guesses and the final results.
