Egg Spinning

Egg Spinning

Materials Needed:
Image1 2 Eggs (one hardboiled and one uncooked)
Image1 Table or other solid even surface

What to Do:
Image1 Explain to children how you can tell if an egg is cooked or uncooked by spinning it. The cooked (hard boiled) egg spins faster and the uncooked egg spins slower due to the fact that the insides of the boiled egg is one solid piece so the whole egg spins in the same direction, while the uncooked egg has liquid inside which moves separately from the shell causing it to spin slower.
