All Kinds of Homes

Materials Needed:

Large pictures of many different kinds of homes (e.g. apartment home, brick home, house trailer, igloo, teepee, log cabin, house boat, tent, RV)

What to Do:

Ask the children why they think people need a home to live in.
Invite the children to try and guess all the different kinds of homes people can live in.
After each child has had a chance to guess, show them different pictures of homes.
Ask the children, "If you had a chance to live in any kind of home you wanted to, which type of home would you choose?".
