Brushes in my Home

Materials Needed:

All kinds of brushes (e.g. hairbrush, toothbrush, scrub brush, vacuum brush, hand broom, paintbrush)
Container to hold brushes (e.g. tote, basket)

What to Do:

Instruct the children to take turns reaching into the container and taking out a brush.
Ask each child to tell you what they think the brush is used for and also if they can think of other ways to use the brush than it would normally be used for.
Invite the children to experiment in the art area with different brushes and paint.
